  • The project sought to reduce risk and enhance protective factors for targeted violence and radicalization to terrorism by educating and empowering citizens to report concerns (e.g., training, social media) and by building the local capacity to address those concerns through investigation, threat assessment, and threat management.

  • Enhancing community awareness of warning signs

    Enhancing community engagement in violence prevention

    Increasing awareness of and training on bystander reporting and response

    Enhancing threat assessment and management capabilities

    Developing and implementing two strategies to support threat identification, referral, and case management.

  • Developed public awareness campaign for violence prevention project for the US Department of Homeland Security and the University of Colorado Boulder and surrounding community in partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder's Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence.
